there is way more aftermarket for mk3 then a mk2, does anyone know if mk3 a/m shocks can fit on a mk2. i have a 83 supra and want to lower it and am havin a hard time beacuse if since there are so few to offer on the mk2 the price is much higher. if you know any good links post, im lookin into some KYB gas shocks and tho there not the best they are around 150$ less then all i can find...thanks

KYB makes a pretty good damper actually... they make a LOT of OEM shocks too.
I'm pretty sure that the MKIII's dampers are not compatible, but I believe I recall readingof other Toyotas with compatible dampers. You should search the MKII section and its FAQ. I'm going to move this thread to the MKII section.
