Ok so I have my mark 2 running good now and am of course turboin it. What besides purchasing parts would be suggested be done for 8-10 lbs of boost. I have been told the stock head will hold up to 12 with out any extra work..

the valves will hold up fine its your head gasket tooo be worried about.
i would get head and block machined and go metal head gasket for sure. especially if your planning on running more than 5 psi. go for a good radiator, because with a turbo your gona be heating up, not too mention you will now also have too cool the turbo. also an oil cooler would be a great idea, might wanna move your oil filter. keeping your engine cool is a big deal.

ok well it was just totally rebuilt......everythin was so its all new but he oil cooler isnt a bad idea.....
