I just bought it for $200 and up untilled now its been reliable. I was coming off the freeway and felt a loss of power when I came to. The stoplight it died and I've been stranded in this parkinglot ever since yesterday. I have spark and it smells like its getting flooded I even sprayed starting fluid and nothing. Please help

does the car turn over faster than usual if it did check cambelt possably snapped worth checking put a socket on bottom crank pulley and see if it moves easily like its slack if it does dont try starting it, it will damage the valves etc

not true at all...

this is a non interference engine, it means in the event of the cams set 180* out or a broken timing belt, the valves will NOT hit the pistons...

its time to get out a multi meter and your manual, and test your igniter, AFM, Fuel pump, distributor, and anything else you see under the hood...
this is a 25 year old car, things will stop working...

here is a good place to start:

look around the manual good luck.
