So I built a 5mgte using a 7mgte block with 5m internals and head. 7mgte exhaust system and turbo. mls head gasket with arp head studs. 5mge felpro gasket set.
So my problem is now that I have the engine together and in the car I am getting a massive amount of coolant in the oil pan. I filled the radiator with 3 gallons of water and started thinking that was too much after the 5th gallon of water. I hooked up a coolant system pressure tester and could not build any pressure, then I noticed water dripping from the dipstick tube.... So far I have drained the oil pan of all the water and brand new oil. My first thought is cracked block, or timing cover gasket. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated, this is a real head scratcher. |
