questions on my new supra. Please help.
 

I just bought a great condition 82 for $580. There are a couple of problems though. I'll start off with the shifter bushings. When I took the shifter out there was no bushing at all!!! Seeing that it was completely gone I have nothing to go by. Does it just slide into the selector in the trans then the shifter just pops into it. Are there any upgradeable bushings that won't wear out? Where on the net can I find some bushings. I've looked all around but haven't found any. Thanks.

Update. You know how you just put the new bushing on the ball at the end of the shifter and then slide it into the selector. Well the piece inside the selector is gone and its a huge hole. Where can I get this piece. I've been looking everywhere and can't find one.

Ill just ignore tis here because the guys on celica/supra should have answered your question better than most on here..

well why dont you just get the stock mk3 shifter... it do the job... get it from the junk yard. hehe.... or on ebay.... hehe.... thats what i get most of my stuff from....hehe....
