turbo ecu for the mk2
 

i got my 5mge with the mk3 turbo setup.... i change everything... but i keep hearing people from right to left saying that... i need to upgrade my ecu or get a turbo ecu.... so in that way it will be able to run the turbo right n boosting correct... is that true.... do i really need to get myself a turbo ecu for my mk2 turbo since i running turbo.... if so is there any where i can find myself the turbo ecu for my mk2 turbo... cause i dont know nothing bout the ecu turbo for the mk2 supra. anything will help n appr. thanx n hope to hear from you guy. n this question is from myself... i need it to know... so please help out to. thanx.

You know Ive heard the same thing however, I dont know for sure. I guess the only way to find out is try it ourselves.

well i keep hear from left to right... upgrade your ecu... or reprogramming your ecu. to run your turbo right... but i dont know who would do it tho. any sugg. i live in 209 cali. let me know if there anyshop where i can reprogram my ecu to run my turbo. or is there any shop/store who selling those ecu turbo for the mk2. let me know. n also how much do it cost?

Where in cali? I live in the 619 area which is in san diego. I do know some very baffluent tuners that can help but they will cost you. They can flash your stock pcm. Price can range anywhere from 150-700bucks. Depending on the amount fo work and what you want done.

Find a HKS fcon unit or another tubo timer..Possibly a fuel controler also..You can use 7MGTE injectors but you will have to cut out the old plugs in the harness and put some in from a MK3 with a 7MGTE..

Well we arent talking about turbo timers and boost controllers we are talking about better enginem management in the realm of our stock pcm. Besides a 7mg will not work for the 5mg. And what plugs are you talking about? I may have misunderstood you here if I have done so I apologize.

The injectors from the 7M should drop right in with little or no mods and i was refering to the plugs in the harness for the injectors..They changed the plug style when they put the 7m in the MK3.. On ECU mods I dont know of anyone off hand that does that sort of thing..Most I have seen with turbo 5m's usually dont do any mods like that..
