a 2jz for my '82
hey everyone,
ive only been in the automotive business for a couple years now. just got out of a trade school run by UAW, and am finally making money. anyway, i have this sweet little thing named Ily (my mkII) and had the crazy idea of doing a powerplant transplant, and modifying everything to fit right and still look original. (until you open the hood ofcourse) and or an all-trac conversion. it looks like there is enough room. im sure this will cost cubic $$$ but i want to have an ongoing project doing something that i enjoy with a car i really love. if anyone has any information or can point me in the right direction, id greatly appreciate it. 1jzgte conversion
Okay I'm new to this whole forum thing but i've had my mkII for over a year now and the old 5mge has 213k on it and shit is starting to weaken rings, valve seats, ect... ne-way she still runs good but it just doesnt have the power that i wish it had and i would love to drop a 1jzgte in there from japan. and i was wondering if u or ne one new if it would fit into my '84 without too much modification. i have the resources and the tme just not alot of $$$. the engines are kinda pricey but i think i have that covered. if anyone knows i would appriciate the info!
