car wont start
so heres the deal i swaped my blown 5mge in my 85 supra for a running 5mge out of an 84 cressida the only thing different on the motor was the lack of a knock sensor... and now ive got everthing back together and i was trying to start the car and all it does is pop and bang doesnt want to start ive checked the timing a couple of times all the connections everything i can think of anyone got any ideas?

I kept the cressida's intake could the injectors be wrong for my supras computer like a diff voltage or ohm rating?

JUst did the same swap..Try setting the crank at TDC then pulling off the timing belt and turn the cams to there TDC position(positioning the groove on the cam sprockets with the grooves on the top of the back timing cover)..That means the locating pins are in the middle hole and on the bottom side of the cams..Then pull the distributor and line it up with the #5 cylinder and then slide it back in and it should be right at the #1 cylinder..Then try and fire her up and let me know..

well i changed the intakes and injectors and re did the timming and she puuuurs thanks for the help...
