sure no problem....because....the 6mgte is usually came in turbo.....in japan....and the 6mge is not turbo....but still have higher compression then the 5mge....because it built into 3.0L not 2.8L like the 5mge....its like the mk3 supra.....the 7mge is non-turbo and the 7mgte is turbo... pretty is the same like the mk3 supra....but just that the US didnt carry the 6mge or 6mgte....because its made in japan and not in US...if you want the 6mge or 6mgte you can still get it from japan tho....

don't know what your on about, but from what i've researched, there was no 6mgte. there was a 6mge that came out just before the mk2 supra stopped production. there was also a 5mgte that was built to trial, very few numbers were actually made, and even fewer actually were sold. the 5mgte never made it into full production. these were JDM only.

he got 6mgte on his mk2 too see....
this is what the 6mgte look like the 6mgte oil filter are located little more to the right not like our 5mge...because our 5mge is locate like in the middle of the block...but the 6mgte is little more to the right.... the 5mgte oil filter sure located between the piston 3 and 4...and the 6mgte is little bit to the right which is located between the piston 2 and 3.... take a look on it... this is another 1985 Toyota Celica Supra 6mgte take a look on it... :P |

uh, if you paid attention to the pics, you would have noticed the first engine pic doesnt have a turbo. its probably a 6mge. the others are an aftermarket or custom built turbo kit.

dont worry i will correct you. the 5mge and 6mge share the same block and heads. its the bore & stroke that are the difference between a 2.8l to a 3.0l.
