*shakes his head* no, you are wrong. they are not 6m-gte's, they are turbo'd 6m-ge's. that first 6mgte you pointed out show before and after shots of the turbo conversion. the next one plainly states that his 5m sounded faster than it went, so he got a 6m-ge from japan, and turbo'd that. the last one also states that it was converted. there was no 6m-gte released for production. those are only turbo'd 6m-ge's. you are right on the differences between a 5m and a 6m, but that does not make them a 6m-gte, just that the 6m-ge is different from the 5m-ge.

Im pretty new in supra game so ive done some research on the car im getting.
('85 w/ original 6MGE engine 5speed and 4.30 rear end) So from my research Id have to agree with Monkihead that there is no 6MGTE, but a 6MGE with a turbo up grade is available, but not from the factory. the first year they offerd a turbo Supra was when they changed body styles '86 1/2 or 87 im not sure which. they offerd the 7mge and 7mgte in those.
