How can I remove Front Spoiler/Bumper Cover 85-86?
I am trying to remove the front spoiler / bumper cover to prevent it from cracking when I tow the car. I could not remove it. It appears to be different from the Celicas and the Pre 85 Supra where you can remove the spoiler without removing the bumper cover.
Any help is very much appreciated. |
i not so sure what you mean by the front spoiler... got pix that will help.

Yep... I got it off. It was pretty easy. Once you take the grill, parking and fog lights out, it was pretty easy to see and take the screws in the grill area off. It probably would have been easier to take the wheels off or at least turn them while I was taking the nuts off that attach the cover to the fender, but I managed to get them off. The splashguards in the wheel wells have to be pulled back to see and get at the nuts in the fender area.
BTW... there are 3 nuts on each side attaching the cover to the fender and not 5. |
