my 86 broke
i was driving and felt like a rough vibrating. Went to my work and found out the fan was hitting off the radiator. drove to my house to fix it 1 mile away. pulleys warped, snapped 2 belts, broke the fan, broke the waterpump, and blew my rad. all in 1 mile. now a friend of mines helping me get an overdrive system, aluminum racing radiator, and other new parts. anybody got any suggestions.

did it overheat?
i'd watch out for the dreaded bhg if it did get a new or good second hand radiator (if yours is damaged) and replace all parts damaged

i do know that TRD makes a lightweight, high flow water pump for your year. thier a little more money but in my opinion its worth the spend. my buddy purchased one and he has been running cold ever since. i dont know if they still make them new or not but they were a common fix. you could probally find one second hand very cheap
