AFM help
hello my name is leo zornow and i have just recently bought an 86 supra 5sp 3.0 inline 6...and love it..
I have also recently installed a straight-flow aluminum intake pipe...and I noticed that upon doing this the engine idled higher as it was getting more air I was wondering if idling higher was better or worse for performance and why I also was thinking of tuning the AFM...I know howe to do this as I have done it on other vehicles..but i wasnt sure if this was the correct way to go about it thank you |

did you get a cooleeze pipe or something?
and i wouldn't recommend adjusting your afm at all... toyota has given these cars amazing ability and they can surprisingly deal with alot the only way i can explain your idle is possibly a vacuum leak
