thinking about getting a 86 supra
i'm thinking about getting a 86 supra. i dont really know much about it but i really have alot of intrest in it. i'm not sure if its a 86.5 or a 86. i was wondering if i can get some opinions on the 86 mk2 supras. i'm new to the supra scene and its also gonna be my first car.

im probally going to get yelled at for this but here is my opinion. they were/are great cars no matter what. i think for the time they came out and everything about them is just amazing. toyota had some of the best engineers working on that car. but nothing is perfect....along with that they are 20 year old cars....they dont look new and they dont run new....and parts expecially for an MKII are so hard to find and fairl exspencive. if you have time and money it is a great car. but otherwise just stick with something a little more dependable then a 20 year old car

The 86 is a 62 series, and the 86.5 is a 70 series. Just look on the vin. It will say ma70 or ma61. As for advice, Get a 3.0 7mgte with complete wiring harness and turbo....and stick it in there. Turbo mk3 power in a car thats 7 or 800 lbs lighter = whole lotta fun!
