Where is Turn Signal Flasher? MKII
My turn signals are not operating but the hazards are. Fuse is not blown. So I assume that the flasher itself is bad, and not the flasher switch. Am I assuming correctly? I got a new flasher to replace the old one but I can not find where it is located. Looking at my shop manual it does not make it clear where it is under the dash/steering column. I have taken the whole driver's side dash, under dash and steering column cover assemblies apart and can not locate it. Can anyone offer some assistance? Thanks. (I have an 1985.5/86 MKII.)

Are you sure about that..The hazards use the blinker selinoids also..So to me it sounds like the switch cluster in the column is bad or malfuntioning..You might do some testing before you go for the selinoids..My manual says it is located some where in the lower centerdash/console area by the radio and heater controls..
