7mge question...
I've already started the swap and all the info I got was wrong. under my dash I have (2) plugs that conncet the interior to the engine wires then I have (1) plug that conects the interior wire to the ECU, these 3 plugs will remain in the car after the 5mge is removed (and it is). I do not have any info on these 3 plugs or color code/wiring diagram. Also I need to know about the (2) interior plugs from my mk3, that need to be spliced into the mk2 wiring. one is a big 19 pin plug and the other is a 9 pin plug. the (2) interior plugs that connects to the mk2 engine harness are an 8 pin and a 9 pin, the (1) interior plug that went to the ECU is a 9 pin as well. My mk2 is an 82 and my mk3 is an 86 both are U.S. spec., Any and all info on what is needed to do will be greatly appreciated. Also any info on how to get ahold of the wiring diagram/color codes that will be helpful as well. Thanks for your time and all the help....Justin.
