Anyone know if its possible to drop in a whole Twin Turbo Engine from a Mark IV Supra into a Mark II 1986 Supra?
I know that a new transmission would be needed along with other things, but ive always dreamed of having a Mark IV Twin Turbo set up in my Mark II, I think it would be the most badass "sleeper" car around my area any thoughts? |

Yes it's possible. A couple of people have already done it here in the States and overseas.
Not an easy swap but it is doable.

take lots of time n you fly lots of $$$ into that.... you were looking about $3-13grand. depand what you do and the part that you would like to upgrade... i done one with the 2jzgtte on my friend his 84 mk2 tho. n it take me about 12weeks to finish the job. the hard part for me is the mk4 trany. i need to do some custom work under the trainny. need to rewelding the trainy frame to make it fit the mk4 trainny. n that it. but it drive me crazy tho. cause you need to do a some rewired the wired to. why dont you just go with the easy setup one. like drop on a 7mgte or get yourself a 6mge singo turbo tho. it does the job. i dont know whats the hp on the 7mgte.... but the 6mge from Japan was 190hp tho. n regular 5mge its only 160hp. well. if i were you i were do the easy one. unless you wanna put lots of $$ into it. "correct me if i wrong on my hp. part on the 5mge n the 6mge." hehe.
