83 ECU on a 82

I just baught a 83 supra with a 82 engine in her, and it doesmt have a ecu, i do have a 83 ecu, will it fit?

did the 83 ecu come out of a manual tranny or auto?? if you have a manual,and it was used with a manual tranny it should work fine

The 82 still used the vacume advance and the 83 was the first year for the electronic dizzy..So you will also have to take that into account and swap them over as well..

So i guess the engine is a 6m, do you guys know any one with a manual ECU for a 6m engine for sale?
