limited slip or not?

im about to buy an 82 supra and i was wondering weather it had limited slip or not

if you want to do drag more than sliding around turns at fast speeds then yes

lsd lowers your abuility to turn, yet improves your ability to accelerate on slippy surfaces.

yea thanx ...im just not sure if the car has it

did they come lsd or no??

mattfurlani 06-03-2007 09:20 PM

no, so don't do burnouts... that's really bad for differentials

if you ever hear anyone talk about "catching posi" on their open differential it means they were a red cunt hair from exploding their diff..

just some advice

why dont you check your axle code from the vin number under the hood...

if your axle code start with "F2" something something then yes... you do have LSD.... if your axle code doesnt start with "F2" then it mean that you dont have LSD... but however you can upgrade your dift. tho... hehe...

here is example of the axle code...
the one you see on the example here is not LSD... thats why it start with "F3" something..
