85 turbo
May be a stupid question but, is it possible to turbo an 85? I mean how different are the 5m-ge and the 7m-gte? Can you use later turbos?

I actually have been dreaming of turbocharging my '85. www.rabidchimp.com has tons of cool performance parts and a ct26 turbo that can deliver 400+ horsepower that fits to your 5MGE so you wont have to worry about swapping in a 7MGE. Good Luck!

Maybe I don't get it but what stops you from swaping the ct26 and the manifold and just the whole turbo system from a 7m-gte and putting it on a rebuilt 5m-ge? Are the engines that different?
