Default APR Head Studs and Head Torque Information

Hey I have a quick question:

Does anyone know the order in which the head studs are supposed to be torqued? Or a basic procedure as I am getting ready to assemble my motor back together and I am about to torque the head to block.

Thanks in advance

Hey call me slow but I didn't see what I needed in there!! haha sorry man..

Does someone think they can explain a little to me an order in which these head studs are to be bolted or torqued down?

What I'm looking for is maybe like an order, for example:

2 front studs then,
2 back ones then,
middle studs...or something along those lines-or maybe it does not matter, idk.

And of course at the end they will all be tightened somewhat equally, then get torqued.

I'm new to the whole process and trying to learn as I go, If someone could help me out a little or explain that link that was posted I will greatly appreciate it.

It's the opposite of the removal order. I hope you didn't just pull them out in any old order...

Here's the specific chapter for the head: http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar...ection=EM&P=32

Sorry just figured i'd give the whole link since there is more to puting the head on than the head studs like the cam cap bolt sequence.

So I am trying to torque the heads down on the 7mgte and the ARP head studs still have a little thread over the block.

Is this a major issue?? I knew nothing about this and didnt catch it until now.

Can someone tell me if I can procede with the torqueing?!?

thanks

If you've made sure the holes are clean (no debris inside) and you've chased the threads then you have nothing to worry about. That's the nice thing about studs, unlike head bolts you don't have to worry about the one side where the torque will be read hanging up and causing a false high reading.
