hey guys i am new here. two questions i guess:
1. i could get the 5 spoke (91-92 supra?) wheels and be able to run 265/40R16s in the back w/o any issues from what i gather, right? 2. if i got 17x10" rims on the back with 275/35or40R17s with a +35mm offset, they would only stick out approx 1/4", is that right? thanks |
Tires
Depends on the weight you pack in to your back seats. I got some tires that were about 2-3" taller than the low profile 225 z50R 16 and they are doing fine.

tyres
have a set of rearset five spoke alloys came with the car not sure of the make they had cheap budget tyres on deffo no no had car 2weeks a bit of rain one day nearly wrapped it pulling away at lights so put eagle f1s on 225/50/16 handled great wet or dry bit priceythough so tried falken fk452s same size and still goin great and handle almost as good as the f1s can twitch a little when accelerating from standin start into corners but give plenty warning side walls seem strong aswell just scrub them in a bit first 300-500 miles before giving them full torque eck

well whatever i get i dont want to have to worry about them rubbing my body before the bump-stops hit. i was looking into weld draglites because I LOVE THEM but im thinking maybe im going a different direction than that because now i have the demon front bumper on my car and i dont know if muscle-style wheels work on a car that has a tuner-style bumper. so for now just thinking about 4th gen TT wheels and squeezing some 285s on the back

Anyone know if anyone ever put a 10'' wheel on the back? And would 19's fit with a not so low profile (rubber bands) tire?
