why only 215?
thats a little too skinny for 8'' wide rims 215 is what i got on my beater u said u got 17x7 i used 225x45x17 in the front and 245x40x17 in the back less sidewall to reduce flexing, but enuff to be safe with potholes and wider tires give you more grip and one question, for japanese tt using harder compound tires, yes they last longer but do u have any problems with grip if you do a high speed corner?

If you really want a great tire get Toyo RA1's...GREAT performance but may not last too long on a daily driver. (I have 225/45/17 on 8.5"rims) Bottom line, try not to get cheap tires, but you can shop for quality tires and save money. (Another brand to look at is Nitto.) |

i dont have any hard compound tires lol just regular drift sets.
and i use 215s on my front because it makes the tire "stretch" to the lip of the rim and gives a little less sidewall to deal with, and ive never had any problem with them losing traction, esspeccially federals, the tread is insane. eh? |

i have 225/50/r16s stock rims/wheels and kumho tires they grip really well on the hot days and pretty well on the cold days, there good in the rain as well.
And the SideWall is pretty firm as well, I dont lose any traction on the front wheels when corner just on the back when i gas it lol.
