I dont know if anyone else found this site but I have been looking for decently priced MKIV wheels and this looks like the best place to me. 1996 Toyota Supra Wheels / Rims & Lights - Found Products
I like that it allows you to get the offset you want that it came with. I was just wondering if the 17X9.5 in the back and the 17X8 in the front would work out for an 88 without having any fender rubbage.

hey all. i just bought a set of kuhmo ecsta AST's for 63 dollars at discount tire. they originally wanted like 97 and i brought in a page from super street that said they were 63 at the discount tire warehouse so they gave me them. i was surprised. ha. but they are stock size and im also running stock rims.
just thought i would share my info if you want some cheap tires. but you have to put them on yourself. haha. but thats what my high school autos class is for!

Fitment
Ok, I really wanna upgrade from my stock 16's, but have a complete brand new paint job, so am imperitive on having correct offset. I also want them quite wide, anybody have suggestions, stick with 17's?, 18's? And what offset I need to buy?
-Scratch that, i'm going with 17's, what's a good offset and how wide can I go on the back? Looking at wheels I can only find like +38 to +40 Last edited by 98fxdwg; 03-19-2008 at 07:36 AM. |

wheels
you have to take into consideratiion the offset of the rims you have on your tires to not just how wide the rims are

Offset is the measure of distance the mating surface of the hub is from the center of the wheel's width (distance between outside (face) of wheel and the inside edge of the wheel). Offset is typically measured in mm, and a + offset means the hub is closer to the face of the wheel, and a - offset means the hub is closer to the inside of the wheel. Most aftermarket wheels you buy will need to have about a +35 to +40 offset (I believe that is for 8" wide wheels- Wider wheels should have a lower offset).
