Megan Racing Compared to ebay strut bar.
The ebay ones have a three bolt connection and the megan racing only have two bolt connections. Should this affect its performance.
Also do the two ebay struts look the same to you from what the sellers told me they seem the same. i always thought those were aesthetics purposes only
since the bar is connected by a bolt it might help somewhat, but i think the ones that are actually connected to the firewall offere more support from flexing like the strut bars that came with the evos

That Megan strut bar is for the rear, the EBAY ones are for the front. They are raised about 6 inches from the bolting face to make clearance from your engine. Strut bars help complete an upgraded suspension. Stiffer springs/shocks and sway bars will be complimented if you throw a strut bar in.

You do realize that real strut bars usually cost a couple hundred each.
You get what you pay for here. Those are purely for looks. I bet you get tired after a while of showing your engine bay off and hearing why'd you buy those cheap a$$ wanna be strut bars. Spare no expense and stop hacking at it. You could atleast go jic or cusco. The ones you're looking at are flimsy looking even in the pic. Save your 50 bucks and buy a blaster coil. |

Yeah I figured somethin was uo with the megen one since it wasn't raised. The seller must of just mistitled it. I hated to even ask about ebay but it kinda hard to find stuff for our cars as Im sure you all know.

Gold nugget here.
www.horsepowerfreaks.com Check out the site. I bought mondo parts from these guys and they got them here normally in 2 days time. When you call dial ext. 103 for Dave. He'll hook you up and do you right. If it's not in stock he'll find it. They stand behind what they sell very well. Make sure they know your engine series so they don't send the wrong wires. That's the worst I can say about them. |
