Default Valve Assy, Air Control Broken~ Help

Need help with a problem i found while installing a kit from hose techniques

17630-70010 Valve Assy, Air Control http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar...rts/17630.aspx

I found that one of the nozzle on this piece is broken off as well as the vacuum line currently being disconnected from the other nozzle on it.

So far this part seems to be about 175$......

But i have no idea about how to get to it to remove it.... any ideas?

Follow the vacuum line over to the intake manifold, and cap it off. This valve is mounted on the power steering pump. It's function is to raise the idle slightly when you are idling, and turning the steering wheels. Like in a parking lot.

You can live without it.

be sure to plug the hole in the air intake on the intake 3" hose to prevent dirt from entering your engine thru the intake.

Bottom of Accordion Hose to Power Steering Idle up connection.

is that the other one u want me to cap off??

i have that line hooked up, but since that other section is busted i should close it off? and that wont interfere with any other parts of the vacuum line?

Thanks
YES. That pipe. Just put a vacuum plug on it. The other, on the accordian hose, needs capping too, so dirt won't enter the engine.

Refering to the vacuum line on the bottom of the accordian hose. Just wondering how this ties into that system. Curious is all

coming from the bottom of the accordian hose.
So i am guessing then, that this vacuum line is not routed properly? or is it?

If not what plugs into the metal line that comes out of the bottom of the charcoal canister
