Engine Will Last At Least A Year Maybe 600+ To Fix, 1500 For New Engine. I Think It Is A Loose Piston. Thanks For Your Time" Loose piston? i don't think it is it just seems like he doesn't know anything about cars. its non turbo 7M-GT engine doesn't sound like the headgasket has ever blown but.. its $500, is it worth buying? making an offer of $300? At best it could be something simple and easy to fix but at the worst the headgasket could be blown and the rods knocking. i just want a reliable standard tranny car with some power. maybe its worth buying a 91 JDM supra for $5000 cdn and not have to worry about the BHG issues. I'm also thinking of a toyota 4runner for about 5 grand with the 22RE engine but comme on a 4 banger? thats so not fun!! |
500 the most....if you will be working on it...plan on spending 5 to $800 dollars on engine onlyn if going non-turbo....
save a whole lot more if paying a mechanic....lol |
