one more question
this may sound stupid but on the gte engine, the intake almost looks like its a cold air already with the pipes and all. so does that mean i can just but a cone from like autozone on it and call it a cool air intake? or do i have to get the custom pipes made for it.

think about this,
you will try to get cold air to your intake but it still has to pass thru that hot ass turbo what do you think happens to that cold air after the turbo? get a short ram intake, get that air to the turbo as soon as you can cold air intake are those ones that go outside the engine bay or towards the bottom of the car, jus get a better intercooler
