1JZ Swap
I heard it was a simple swap right into the mk3 supra. I was wondering though if I have to change any gear ratios in my tranny or diff to make it possible? Also are there any othere little things that may affect my swap on my car? Thanks

different motor mount than pre 89 but you can use bicperformance brackets with your square motor mounts, bigger intercooler, not to mention the engine harness is from a right hand drive so it will need to be extended about 3 feet or drill a hole in your firewall the list goes on

OK you want to know what kind of things you will run into. Ok the gear ratio isnt a big deal your speedo will just be off a bit mine is like 3 miles per hour fast. You will need the three plugs for under the dash and the one from under the hood. Seems like you have everything else handled but just remember because I have seen everyone run into it your tach will not work best to get a aftermarket one and wire it to the small wire on the ingitor box the blue with a red strip wire to get the signal. Oh yeah get a solid drive shaft because unless you have a R154 shaft then your up a crap creek. Change the oil check out the timing belt good and also check your ECU board and replace all five of the capacitors or you will regret it. After that have fun because it is a big change from the 7MGE especially when you step on it I would get a walboro it will save you from leaning out at top end. Any other questions send me a PM.
