Default 7mgte head on 7mge block?

Was wondering if it's possible w/ relative ease? Tried searching but couldn't find much on it being done before.

Yes it will fit with little problems, but using the GTE cams will take away from your low end power but give you a little more higher end power. Not to steer people away from this forum but supramania has a few threads on this subject.

There are differences in the water jackets on the 2 blocks.
Even if you change cams. I'm not sure you can do that swap. Shite doesn't line up right internaly from the block to the head. Although it will seem from the exterior to line up perfectly.

You can put the gte cams into the na head for some increased throttle responce. All of that shite starts adding up to seconds if you do all of it and then some.

The people in supramania are elitist snobs and they haze new people. Been that way for years and isn't going to changge. But tis a vast pit of knowledge. There is also The Toyota Supra Forums .

This is one of the top 2 sites though. IMO.

The gte block has atleast 2 water jackets that the ge doesn't have.

No problems. Swap the cams out though. Somekind of minimal gains to be had that way. I'm not sure if you don't sacrifice low end torque. For a high end throttle responce.

The water jackets are the ovular holes in the head and the block.
