my first engine had thrown a rod in the bottom end and had a BHG

it would run ok while cool, which didnt last very long due to coolant not flowing through the system... lol

After it heated up the engine would just stall out as soon as u stoped, would continue going long as u didnt let off the gas lol. But it made knocking noise

Mine doesnt really make a knocking noise... kinda a clicking noise maybe, but I figure because its running crappy.. I dunno, how bad is that...like... engine rebuild bad? ooor....maybe... bring the engine out and put a new one in

For me it was replace the engine bad, throwing a rod in the bottom end tears up alota shit. unless ur mechaniclly inclined and can do it yourself prolly cheaper droping a new one in... just dont try to go cheap on the new engine you get what you pay for...

Yeah until I got mine fixed it smelled pretty strongly of gas vapors when running. Well best of luck to you on your endevor. The light is at the end of the tunnel. I was standing in your place not too long ago. I have a Haynes manual for that supra if you need it just let me know.

I couldnt agree with you more about the light, man...I just got 2 job offers, and will accept em both. both are the "on my own time" jobs, selling things...lol, not complaining, money is money. hopefully the light comes closer, and I can sell the 89, which someone contacted me about earlier, (FREAKIN' SCORE)...Hopefully they like cloth interior...thats what they asked about. and hopefully the 1200 will be enough to have the local shop fix the engine hissing...and possibly the BHG...I dont wanna bother honestly...im more of a driver, breaker, pay for it later... (I like that...I made a jingle... )

Anyways...thanks for the support, seems like life is finally taking a turn fr the better....

(just a few more weeks of driving a honda,.....Oh happy days!!!!

Oh, and I got a haynes too...Chiltons or Haynes...I think Haynes...its waterlogged because I think the 89 has a leak in the back...better pull out my subs and air the bitch out...XD
