Default Bic DDP

How many of you with the bic DDP daily drive your cars?

How loud is it and can you drive it without getting tickets for noise?

I really think thats what I want to put on my car, but not if I can't drive it on the street.

I also have to pass emissions every two years, so need something that will pass a smog and visual test. I'm not too worried about the visual, I doubt they will be able to see anything under there, but I don't know how close they look.

I don't want to do the optional reconnection back into the exhaust, because I want the exhaust noise, but only when I floor it.

So I guess I want to know how loud is it before full boost, and can you control the sound by the way you drive?
Thanks, Ray.

Well I can't help you with the exhaust but I can give you some advice about the emissions. If you have a good cat, 02 sensor, and not running to rich, then you should pass emissions, but I don't know how strict they are in your state. As for the visual inspection, as long as you don't have a test pipe in they should be able to see the cat and pass you on that. Good luck!

It is loud, the way it seperates the waste gate from the main flow is only a little peice of metal...

So even when waste gate is not opening some air gets down thru the other opnening. My car sounds alot nicer.. Its not too bad when ur just cruising around but if u hit it, and ur waste gate opens.. Its pretty loud

My state ha s no emissions so idk about all that
