Default fuel injectors

i have put in a rebuilt engine into my 87 supra and it won't start up. one fuel injector is reading too much resistance and another one is leaking. they are the original injectors. i was thinking about just replacing all of them. any suggestions?

Does it even try to start, sputter or anything.
Usually if one or two injectors are bad, the engine will still start, just run crappy. Check for fuel pressure, spark, timing, compression, and if all that is good then look at the injectors.

i tried starter-fluid at one point and had a fireball come out of the intake, so i am getting spark. also, i have new spark plugs, wires, rotor, and distributor cap on it. i've installed a new Walbro fuel pump and it is working. when i tried starting the car after installing the fuel pump, i heard a faint pop. kinda like pressure being quickly released. that's when i found that the #2 injector was leaking fuel (bad o-ring). the engine is a professionally rebuilt 7M-GE. the engine came already timed with a timing belt on it and it has a 3 year warranty. i'm assuming the compression and timing are fine.

Have you tested ignition timing yet? If the injectors are bad, starter fluid should have started the car for at least a couple of seconds. If it backfires out of the intake, its usually caused by bad ignition timing, i.e. the distributor isn't installed correctly, or the firing order is wrong.
A timing light will work even if the engine won't run.

Is the ecu grounded?
The two white around black wires and the brown one next to them? And the case too. You may have a problem like mine was, when I grounded the case of my ecu, it started right up.
If you have a stethscope listen to the injectors, they should click.
You can also use a long screwdriver, just put your ear on the handle.
Or get a noid light and hook it up to the injector plug to see if they are getting grounded by the ecu.

Also check the distributor... When I put in my JDM 7MGE, I installed the distributor wrong. It would sputter on the starter spray at a few hundred RPM's for a few seconds, then just die off. I had mine 180 out- firing on the exhaust stroke, not the compression. So all it was doing was backfiring.

i know i have those white wires and the one brown wire grounded cause that was a problem at first. the engine wouldn't even turn over until i grounded those. i will check on the ecu case and the injectors to see if they are grounded. i'll also check on the timing, that sounds promising. thanks a lot! i'll post back.
