Retorque 7mge & 7mgte question
I have looked around these forums and have red that some ppl retorqued the engine to 86ft/lbs some 75ft/lbs and my question is out of curiosity what is the recommended ft/lbs or at how much did you retorqued it and what engine do you have? mine is set at 76ft/lbs and my supra has a 7mge engine

Anything 70lbs and up on a 7m should be fine.
You shouldn't go much further without arp hardware. My arp studs are torqued to 85lbs. Stock head bolts can't go that high, they stretch. Im a 7mge, 91 model, Stick. |

The tsrm states 59lbs.
But that torque spec blows head gaskets. FYI. |
