Did someone put turbo pistons in my n/t???
The machineist was thinking because of the deep dish in my pistons that someone may have swapped out n/a pistons for turbo ones and that was one reason why i wasnt getting any power. Is this possible? I dont have any good pics of my pistons do you guys have a pic of both? Thanks in advance!

I think that means you need to add a turbo. :)
Look at the pics in the other thread with the blown headgasket. Do they look like that? |
I cant remember but i think they look pretty close to that does anyone have a pic of a n/t piston?
|
no other help?

Dude it's n/a. Not n/t.
natural aspiration, naturally aspirated, whichever. |
Photo of 7M-GTE piston, I didn’t have time to clean off the carbon but I think you can see it’s the same as the one in 7M-GTE link. So I think it would be safe to assume the photo of the 7M-GE piston in this link 7M-GE should fairly accurate.

my 91 na pistons don't have all of that groove work done to them.
|
Ya the machineist threw them away already but he had some N/A (happy guy?) pistons he showed me and he said mine were deeper than them but i donno about that. Oh well its getting the right ones now and new! lol i cant wait for my baby to be back together again!

ouch , he threw away the turbo pistons
and gave u NA pistons? isnt putting low comp pistons a step towards performance? i mean, ur pretty set for a turbo after that, jus minor bolt ons and ur good |
