intake manifold
aight i'm kinda new to this whole supra world thing but i have a 90 n/a with a five speed and i was looking at my boy's 240 and i was wondering if there was anyway that i could put an intake manifold that didn't cross over the engine. it just doesn't make since to me that on the n/a's they pull the air in and bring it over the exhaust header but what ever i know if i do get a driver side intake manifold i will have to relocate the battery and all that kinda stuff but i wanna know if anybody has seem this done and if ya'll know where i can get one from.
Thanks in advance, Dumbass |

it is possible to put a front facing intake manifold on the 7m. there arent any being mass produced so you can either have a custom one made, or you can buy a used one. there are few guys on supramania making custom ones. the only bad thing i can say is that it is a costly procedure.

i looked on supramania and found a guy that does it and it looks good but i don't know if it was just for the turbo or not. Is there a difference or not? also what is the best tb for the n/a and where can i get one from for not to much money because well lets face it the military donesn't really pay all that much.

It's a cressida engine you want.
Those are the only 7m's I have ever seen without what you are speaking of. |

to get a jz manifold to fit you will either need to make a custom lower piece or an adaptor. an adaptor would be cheaper by far, but the flow wont be as great. i really dont think that should be to big a concern on a na though. you still may need to get some custom work done to the manifold to make sure you can still get all the ports you need. as for tb's, im not to sure. maybe just the stock jz tb? idk
