Default Title question. . .

Hey,
I picked up a MKIII Supra parts car quite awhile ago and it didn't have any title. I now want (need) a title for it cuz I've turned it into a driver. . . So I was wondering if anyone has any extra titles and VIN plates that they might be interested in selling? Help keep one more Supra alive! Thanks guys.

I wouldn't ask that kind of thing of anyone, It's not exactly legal.

It it possible to get a title from your MVA, I'm not sure about your state but in MD they keep records of vehicles titled for five years after registration with no renewal. Take a trip to your local MVA and ask some questions, pick up some forms to fill out, you may have to get a signature of the last owner that had the title to allow a new title to be written up in your name. You can also see if your MVA has a vehicle found on property form, in MD if you have a vehicle that doesn't have a title you get the form, put a ad in a local paper for a set amount of time and when no one comes forward, the MVA gives you a title for the vehicle.

If that fails you can find a titleing service in your state that may be able to help. Stuff like that will cost though, could be a few hundred dollars.

I have a similar problem with my lowrider Ranger, if I could find the guy I bought it from I would have it titled and on the road, and I can't go to a title service because the truck came from a different state. It sucks.

Good luck!

Does this look like a Mother Flucking chop shop to you??

You must have came over from the dodge and mitsubishi sites or some trash.

That by far wins the most ignorant post award.

hey dude..the vin number should be stamped on the firewall in the engine bay..if you are a mechanic you should know this... im sure the vin number is stamped in many other places that im to lazy to go see...but my point is.....has it crossed your mind that living in Aruba, that car could have been stolen at some point and you wana be an acomplice to that by getting a fake vin plate....come on..use some sense dude....
