Default newbie....problem w/ 91 supra turbo

this is my dads car...he doesnt drive it much...so i drive it...it was running good...boosting around 12 psi...then one day...i drove it to school and race a trans am and smoked him...then i was coming home and my friends told me to WOT it on the highway so they can see(high way rite behind school)....and it was fine...then about 1 mile from home...i WOT it again...and i hear boost leakin(i dont know if its leakin but i hear it washhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and its only boostin 4-6 psi instead of 12 psi....i took all the intercooler piping off then inspec the coupling....and there all fine and i put it bak...and it still does it....so let me know wat i should look next

well...i think the turbo is dead...i notice that the A/F is runing lean at idel and rich at cruise/wot...so its eating gas like a v10....but ima check the turbo for shaft play today...and i know the seal on the turbo is bad b/c theres oil in the intercooler pipings and oil is comin out of the BOV....and smokes like crazy during start ups....if i find that the turbo is dead or need a rebuild...how much would it cost to rebuild it?

One Hundred Million dollars muah haha ha ha ha.

No really if all you need is a kit you'll get lucky.
But it sounds like you have bigger problems that luck may not try to factor it self into.

I'm not a turbo guy. But I tried.

i know it has more problems....ahha its getin me pissed off....i think ima jus buy a 1jzgtte front clip and swap it

i think i found the problem...the turbo manifold gasket....i think its blown...while reving it a little i could see exhaust gases coming from it...ahha
