Default I need help on my MKIII...

i have a 89 turbo supra that is modded in pretty much every way except NO2. anyway... The other day i was out driving under boost pressure of about 12 lbs or so when it just started Bogging REALLY bad when ever the boost would kick in. Like it wouldnt let me go over 40mph because the boost would start to kick in so i would have to shift into different gears every 30 sec or so just to keep the boost from kicking in. I had a problem like this before and it was because the one of the intercooler pipes had become disconected but as far as i can tell everything is connected and should be working properly.. i just dont know what it could be. any advice would be SO helpful. Thanks!! Ryan

could be a number of diffrent things, sounds like your car is cutting fuel, I assume you have a boost controller have you tried turing off boost or setting it to a lower PSI?

Sounds like your fuel is way off if it is bogging at 12 crap I run 14 all day on the stock injectors. I would check your fuel system like you fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump pressure, injector timeing, and ignition timing. Actually your timing belt could have jumped and then you could be running a tooth off that would make it act really funny just line up your timing marks and check them out. Just throwing some stuff out.

thanks for the comments.. im not really sure if its any of that stuff. i turned down the boost but im getting it painted right now so i havent tested it yet. it could be the fuel but i dont see how it could be. i havent messed with the fuel or anything... but 12lbs or so shouldnt be too much. can you think of anything else it could be?

The only thing I can think of is check your timing because if the belt is old then it would be a good place to check.

This may sound crazy, till you start thinking about it.
When was the last time you flushed your intercooler?????

Just a thought cause I bet it's nasty. and you may not be supplying enough air to the mixture, making you run rich.

Next would def. be the timing. Hope this helps.
Just food for thought.

I don't know anything about them either dude.

So here's what I did. I bought the car without that option so I could work on it myself.

Why?? Because I don't want to learn turbo's.

If I have a turbo'd car. It'll be a car that only the dealership touches.

Like the new BMW x6.
