RIP my supra
Well yesterday was the marker that ended the life of my 1992 N/A supra. I was driving down highway 270N when i started to hear a loud knock and then the motor cut out after a final loud cluck. I had the car towed to a family friend's shop where he pronounced the motor with a broken connecting rod. So... for the time being i am setup with a 98' BMW 323is. I hope to get another supra once i finish college and this car is paid off.

Was it low on oil before the rod broke? If not, can you send the broken pieces to me? I can use my metallurgical lab. and look for defects, etc.
Broken rods that are not caused by low oil are almost always "fatigue failures", but the crack has to start somewhere. If the broken ends are not all mashed up the evidence will be there. Do NOT let the broken ends touch anything hard, or any remaining evidence can be lost.

That just means your engine is lost, not your supra. Back when my 87 Supra blew a rod I sold it and it took me two years of driving a crappy 92 Civic Si dreaming of being back in a supra again. Now I bought an 88 Supra Turbo Targa and no matter what happens to it I will keep it forever (specially considering I have pumped 1500 into suspension and handling, a gripload into the motor and buying an upgraded turbo, just because you lose the engine doesnt mean you lose your ride...that only happens on pinks.
