Buying MKlll
I've decided that my new project car will be a MKlll. I like the styling of the car and its has what im looking for. RWD/MT/Turbo. I like the 240's but i'm sick of seeing all around here with folger's exhaust systems.
I did some researching around i found what seems to be the trouble spots with the car. Head gasket/turbo seals and all the other wear and tears from buying a used car. I work on turbo diesel's for a living so tearing apart an engine dosent really bother me. I'm going for the 400-500 hp mark. So what concers me is if there is the aftermarket suport for the car. I looked around and it seems there is, but looks can be deceiving. So my question is what are the companys to go to for this car. I know most out there but some can be good for one car and not so good for another(shitty parts, overpriced, etc). |

The reason I ask is because there's a guy on customtacos.com that uses racerX and I was wondering if the OP was the same guy. |
