These three things will help, heat, PB-Blaster, and WD-40.
I had a similar problem, I got the elbow of the turbo but couldn't separate the elbow from the down pipe. I first left the elbow and dp in the hatch on a hot summer day and waited until it was nice and toasty since I didn't have access to a torch at the time, I was then able to get off two of the three bolts on the elbow and dp. I ended up grinding off the last nut, I was lucky enough to not damage any of the treads so I wouldn't recommend it. If you can get a hold of a cutting torch then you can heat up the nuts and probably break them loose. Besides that keep soaking the nuts/bolts in WD-40 and PB-Blaster. Hope this helps, good luck. |
