Help! Losing water and over heating, but no dripping?!?!
I have a 87 supra none turbo, I love her but she can be a real bitch some times... I think her and my X's have been talking. lol Anyway, she's losing about a liter of water a day and only being driven REAL short distances and of course over heating. BUT, nothing is leaking?!?! I've replaced things that needed to be replaced anyway like the thermostat, radiator(was leaking a little) and water pump. I think it might be the head gasget although it's not mixing with the oil... yet Any help or ideas will be greatly appriciated! Thank you!

Theres a few places to check, when its warmed up feel the exhaust, if condensation forms on your hand then its probably a bhg, then take a look at your overflow tank, if its bubbling and steaming then its probably a bhg. Good luck!

lol you might want to rephrase that to... Put your hand at the end of the exhaust pipe and feel the air coming out. When i first read it the first thing i thought of was someone is going to go touch thier exhaust and burn the crap out of themselves lol. |

I was teasing. I wouldn't say something like that seriously.
I remember it was bad though from living there. |
