gelwell Stock Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: San Diego Posts: 18	Occasional black smoke running rich I have been experiencing a problem I was hoping the board could help me with. On occasion the check engine lite will come on and the engine will load up and have to accerlerate the to get it out. I have replaced the turbo since I was told that would be the problem. But I have plenty of boost. Any suggestions of what it could be? __________________ '88 Supra Red, 7mgte motor, auto trans- I know manual is better for this car. Sport top.
