How can I check my fuel pressure?
I ask because I have a fuel pressure tester that screws into a GM test port, and has an adapter to attach to a Ford test port. But, the 7M-GE doesn't have a test port. What can I do to use my gauge on my car?

Im pretty sure you need a banjo bolt attachment to use on the cold start injector line.

A very good parts store, or one of the tool trucks, should have the adaptor you need.

I don't work out of a shop, so no tool trucks. Can you name a store that might have one? Maybe an on-line source? I asked at the local NAPA store, but the clerk's eyes glazed over.

MK3 TSRM On-Line
Fuel Pressure Banjo Bolt Adapter That adapter isn't gonna work with a standard pressure gauge but im pretty damn sure there is an adapter for standard gauges. If the guy rolled his eyes acting like you have no idea what you're talking about...i know how that is. I hate when you get an ass hole that works at a parts store. Guy had me waiting for literally 5-10 minuets as he took new calls over and over while he kept telling me "hold on a sec". |

I think its like that at every parts store if its not something they can look up on the computer they are instantly retarded. Most of them havent ever tore into a car past replacing a starter or alternator or fan belt.
