Well I fixed a a BHG after I bought the car. About 2 months later it develops a BAD knock. I am almost sure that a rod bearing went out.
First, I had to drive around 15-20 miles once it developed the knock so could that be enough to screw the crank? Second, is it easier to lift the engine and remove the cross member or to pull the entire motor. Granted I have never pulled and engine before and don't have a lift. Finally, how hard is it to replace the bearings and possibly the crank? Thanks.
