I have just recently purchased a 1988 toyota supra non turbo and automatic. I really wanted a turno and manual but I picked this one up for 200$$ from a friend body and paint is in very good condition. interior need redone. not sure whats wrong with the motor, I think there a rod knockin but I havnt even tryied to start it yet. when I do get it runnin

what can I do to the 7mge as far as cheap mods go?? how hard is it to swap a 7mgte in to my car?? how much will it cost.. what I am gettin at is what is the cheapist way to get lots of power???

performnace exhaust, headers, underdrive pulleys (doesn't work the accessories as much, which will give you some more power, go from a clutch fan to electric, K&N Air filter will help her breath better. Is it a stick or auto?

If the interior and body aren't REAL XLNTe'....it would not be worth it. ie: $5ooo for a nice one down on the local car lot. '91 turbo, 5 sp, needs seats redone. recent white paint. Runs great, cause I looked it over real good. But my N/A is ALL done now, best looking one in the area, so I want to enjoy driving it.
Besides...my next car will be a '95 mk4 with 6sp.
