okay so i got in my car today and it started. i was in my driveway slightly on a hill. (the front facing downward) last time i tried to start it i was on flat ground. my gas said it was at quarter tank. i topped her off today. but its been starting before that. before i put gas, i tried to start it and it started right away then died right away. it did that twice. then after that i started it about 10 more times and it fired up well. may it be that my fuel guage may be broken? and should i keep it always about more than half tank fuel??? get back to me please im becoming confused.

Well, if you filled it until full how many gallons did it take before the pump stopped? If it was a bit over 15 then yeah, your gauge could be shot or it could be the sender in the tank.

im not exactly sure. but, it was having trouble and would hardly start at about a quarter tank. once i actually got it started at quarter tank, i went straight to the gas station and i topped her off and shes been starting well every time.

Well, it's possible the gauge is off or the sender's bad... or perhaps you just had some bad fuel in there.

Yellow can of HEAT.
put in tank. top off. Supreme.

Run it empty.

Here's where I would run it bone dry. Pull in.
Get a can of ATF. insert funnel. add ATF to tank.
fill up. Supreme.
Fill up. Supreme.

Then run that half dry. Top off with your choice of non-leadery.
That was my 1st ever online impression of Tenacious D.

WHY???? I bet you're asking. Every body always asks why.
That is quickley followed by did..., you escape from the local tardery???

The atf lubricates your entire fuel injection system from the inside out it acts as a detergent and a lubricant. It aids in the break down of carbon scoring.

You'll smoke, but never mind they'll all be seeing the smoke soon enough.

Seafoam. Same thing. ATF works better and is half price.

You will notice rather quickley an improved throttle responce and a smoothness to your engine that you have probably never had otherwise known existed.

I promise. I stand by it. It is the mad truth.
Try it once and you can Thank me at your discretion.

No autographs. Hold you applause.
Yes...., I'm in rare form tonight.

ATF, yeah it cleans well and lubricates, but Techron does the same just as well (yes, just as well) and doesn't smoke like a mofo. It does cost more, but I'd rather spare my cat of the extra abuse.

Don't even get me started on seafoam!!! UGH!!! GAHHHHHH!!!!!! EVIL!

I would add marvel mystery oil to my tank before I ever add seafoam again.

That product is hyped up and designed by hacks for niche market tuning geeks.
