I'm wonder if anyone have issue with quite hot spot on tunnel next to gear box shifter /emergency break (handle is hot too) -driver site only.

i have that problem. but it because i took off the exhaust from the crossover flange. so, all the heat rises from the exhaust right there.

They always run hot there. Factory setup has some heat shields under car ...on the body to keep the floor cool....above the exhaust for a ways.... Are they in place on yours??
If you look...and you're not sure...look under a friends...or somebody's. You can always make some out of sheet metal. |

i'd dont think mine has them. im not worried about it just yet, throw out bearing went out, need to fix this weekend.
