question..needing some advice
hey guys..i know that this question had been asked alot..but i just cant really figure it out.....i have a 86.5 supra..with the non turbo engine in it....and i was thinking about swaping the 7mge out and putting in the 7mgte....i also was thinking about swaping out the 7mge and puting in the 1jz... .i was wondering..which engine is more reliable..i plan on drifting this car.. but iam just stomped on hat engine swap to do.??? also whats that hardest part about fitting inthe 1jz...if you guys could give me some input on this..i would greatly appricaite it thanks..

Hello.
The best way for you to get these answers is to research. There are sooooo many things that come to mind when swapping an engine. I drive a 91 na 5 speed. I'm going to start looking for a 2jzge to rebuild to hook to the w58 tranny. Shop around and research any and everything. Engine swaps are no joke. MK3 TSRM On-Line This will aid you well. Save it and start thumbing through at your discretion. |
